New Look!

As Psi Chapter Webmaster, I am pleased to unveil the new look of themightypsi.org! I hope you like all the new features and content spread throughout the site, but here are some new things to look for:

Look and feel
The new design is centered around brighter colors and should be much more eye-catching. The header content has been kept to a minimum so you can see a lot of the content you came here to see without scrolling. This is very important since the amount of content on this website has quadrupled!

What We Do
This is a brand new section to the web site. Here you can see synopses of all the event and projects the Psi Chapter puts on and minutes from all our meetings. , it will no longer be a mystery what Psi does.

Whether you're a prospective member, parent, Brother from another chapter, or other organization, the new About pages will tell (and show) you everything you need to know about the Psi Chapter. Member profiles had fallen by the wayside with the old website. Now they're back, up-to-date, and even more accessible. Peruse the Brothers' bios and meet the people who make Psi great.

Brothers Only built right in
No longer do Brother of the Psi Chapter have to navigate to a completely different web site to view sensitive material. Brothers Only content is available once you log in at themightypsi.org.

Alumni section
Alumni of the Psi Chapter can navigate straight to this section off the main menu. It includes content tailored just for them. They can see all upcoming events to which they're invited. They can sign up for the alumni email list. They can give back to Psi by hosting a workshop, giving a seminar, or sending in a spotlight. And the alumni profiles are a great way for anyone to delve into the history of the Psi Chapter.

HTML 5 and CSS 3
This website is built to the latest HTML 5 and CSS 3 specs. This probably doesn't mean a lot to you on the surface, but it makes a difference behind the scenes. The code is cleaner, loads faster, and offers easy ways to style the site. To fully appreciate the new look, make sure you have the latest version of your browser.
