Biography

Hi, I’m Gabrielle Mocilnikar, but most people call me Gabby. I am a music performance major on French horn. I’ve lived in an abundance of music for most of my life—my dad has played horn professionally for as long as I can remember. Evan as a toddler, I loved the sound of the French horn. I would dance around the house as my dad played his warm-up. It’s no surprise that I’ve chosen music as a career, at least for the time being. I also have a keen interest in film. I love watching movies — good movies that is. I’ve always wanted to get to work on a movie set. Acting, directing, lighting, filming, set design — it all sound good to me. When I’m not practicing, studying, or watching movies, I enjoy reading, doodling, and long walks. I look forward to another two years of learning, making friends, and strengthening old friendships.
